It is this attitude that led the two Burlington companies to receive the annual employer nomination at the Burlington Chamber of Commerce annual business awards party on Thursday. O. C.
With approximately 80 employees, Tanner itself is an employee recognition company that provides products and project services to a wide range of national customers.
With 38 employees, Thrillworks provides website design and development services to the same diverse international customer base.
Jay Bousada, president of Thrworks, said the company was nominated for a different category two years ago, and he thought it was a great honor.
\"I will tell you that it means a lot to me because I am very excited this time,\" he said . \".
\"We are very excited to be nominated.

The staff were excited to receive the nomination, said Tanna.
\"It\'s one thing to be nominated, but it\'s amazing to be a finalist.
Keith Hoey, chairman of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce, said the category is only two years old and will not be issued annually.
The selection process also includes additional evaluations to investigate the company employees nominated in the category to ensure that the nomination is reasonable.
\"It\'s not just distribution, they really make this,\" he said . \".
Hoey said that the conference hall received more than 50 entries, and the nominations will be sent only in categories to companies deemed worthy of recognition by employees.
Other awards will be held at the Burlington convention center, including the business first award for Burlington economic development, the travel Burlington Ambassador Award and the Community Service Award for Mayor Rick Golding.
