Mumbai: on Monday morning, a row of furniture shops on a busy road in boisa taluka, Palghar district were burnt out by fire.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
The wooden furniture shop on boysalchira road caught fire at around 6. 30am.
Unconfirmed reports say more than 15 shops are selling wooden furniture in a row.
After the incident, an inspection was carried out by the Bogar MIDC firefighters.
Although the origin of the fire has not yet been determined, it is suspected that the short circuit is the cause.
The fire spread from one store to another, burning all the wooden furniture.
It is suspected that the shops were illegal on a major piece of land in boaig.
The entire loss is expected to occur at lakhs.
