After the opening policy , my friends who chose to travel abroad mostly concentrated in the following two places: one is Bangkok, Thailand, another one is
Hong Kong, China. And I also made a trip plan for Hong Kong
Beside for going around to seek food , another important purpose of the trip was to check in to the Regent Hong Kong Hotel, which is available for bookings
since July 1. After nearly 3 years of renovation, the legend finally returns
Regent Hong Kong ,the international five star hotel was grand open with 602 guest rooms in October ,1980 by the help of New World group ,The hotel was
located in Victoria harbour with excellent seaside view , surrounding by sea
On May 21, 2001, New World sold the hotel to Bass Hotels and Resorts for US$346 million and it
was rebranded as the InterContinental Hong Kong on June 1, 2001.
In July 2015, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the successor company to Bass Hotels and Resorts, agreed to sell InterContinental Hong Kong to Supreme Key,
a consortium of investors, for US$938 million. It was reported that IHG will retain a 37-year management contract, with three time 10-year extension rights.
InterContinental Hong Kong officially ceased operations on April 20, 2020, except for the two-Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant Xin Tu Xuan, which is still
accessible from the connected K11 MUSEA, the entire hotel is closed for renovation
the hotel has 497 guest rooms , which designed by the architect Chi Wing lo is going to reopen in second quarter of this year , Chi wing Lo Who has his own
furniture brand bring the custom design to hotel guest room successfully

for those restaurant will be a preview for grand opening of hotel
