Repurposed Computer Desk

The previous computer desk was the working area of the electronic paper cutter.
First identify the machine you have that needs a new location.
Measure their size and go shopping.
Check your own house first, then the department store and yard sales.
Be creative and throw away any preconceived ideas of furniture \"intended purpose.
Old computer tables are common in the resale market.
The printer is also good for CNC machines.
A few years ago, I retired from a bulky desktop computer and no longer needed a nice, dark computer cabinet.
This is a nice piece of furniture where the door can hide clutter.
I bought a pair of dark storage boxes with cubed shaped holes on each side to store craft supplies.
A nearby table with thick cushions added to it became my handmade work area for making our beautiful new line handmade bag \"more than one card\" filled with smiles and encouragement (

Cheap projects.
Com, if you\'re curious).
The area looks a bit messy but will be cleaned beautifully.
The Cubed hole is filled with vintage bathtubs, Old Blue Mason jars, fabric-covered milk cases (
See one of my previous posts)
There are also several hand-made wash boxes (
Also previous post).
When my supplies were collected, the collection of furniture took up only one unused wall and was beautifully decorated with handmade good things.
In order to accommodate a large computer monitor, the redesigned computer desk is very deep.
The area of the display is really a waste of space, so I made a removable shelf.
Green and white shelves in photos (
Brand color Cricut! )
Cycle up from the part of the 1970 old wooden bookcase.
If you don\'t have an old bookcase, you can easily make the rack by drilling four screw holes on a piece of wood, plus four pins or wooden legs.
I added the feel sticker to the bottom of my leg so the shelves can be in and out as needed for my project.
I put my cricket on one shelf and my silhouette on the other.
The laptop I use to run these machines is located on the pull out keyboard tray.
In the lower area originally intended for use in the computer tower, I stored a sewing machine.
File cabinet drawers are very useful for scrapbook files, partially made items, and paper patterns.
There are pens, scissors and tools in the small letters and drawers.
Software CDs were still in the previous CD file drawer, but for different types of machines.
Office organizer panels made of whiteboards, Cork and metal are still useful.
They are currently collecting newspaper clippings for inspiration.
The cabinets look very clean and elegant when closed.
When I use my machine, I open the table, add a chair or stool from a nearby location, and then take out the keyboard shelf of the laptop.
The cable and power cord are not a problem as the cabinet is built with cable prefabrication holes.
My machine is very heavy, but the front desktop computer that occupies the table is also very heavy.
I hope to add a small 3D printer to my cabinet one day too!
