The People's Republic of China——The main drafting unit of national standards for Customized furniture| Guangdong Yabo Furniture Industries Co., Ltd.
Recently, as the main drafting unit, Guangdong Yabo Furniture Industries Co., Ltd participated in the drafting of the national standard “Custom Furniture: General Design Specifications”（GB/T39016-2020）and “Custom Furniture: Field test method for volatile organic compounds”（GB/T 39386-2020）. It has gone through the procedures of standard project approval evaluation, standard drafting, technical review, and so on, and will be formally implemented in Feb 2021 and June 2021 respectively.
In the second half of 2020, Mr. Jack Huang of Yabo, as the main drafter, participated in the compilation of the national standard of “Custom Furniture: General Design Specifications” and “Custom Furniture: Field test method for volatile organic compounds”. This is not only the confirmation of Yabo furniture but also the requirements of the enterprise. The two standards, jointly issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, are aimed at accelerating the development of the industry, providing standardization management, deepening standardization reform, and strengthening the construction of a technical standard system.
From 1st Feb 2021, the "Custom Furniture: General Design Code" (GB/T39016-2020) was initiated by China Light Industry Federation and started to be implemented.
This standard specifies terms and definitions of custom furniture design, general design requirements, applicable to all kinds of custom furniture design. To furniture customization product design specification requirements accordingly, in view of the design principles, design input, design drawings, selection of raw and auxiliary materials, product size design, product structure design and provide the basis for the location of the furniture electrical appliances design and technical documents, promote the development of industrial norms.
From 1st June 2021, the "Custom Furniture: Volatile Organic Compounds Field Test Method" (GB/T 39386-2020) was initiated by China Light Industry Federation and started to be implemented.
This standard specifies the principle, test conditions, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, data processing for the on-site testing of volatile organic compounds in custom furniture. It is suitable for the determination of the release rate of volatile organic compounds in custom furniture made of sheet material and provides a detection method for custom furniture testing work.
